#sunday A cold and bright sunny day.

Wanted to take the ‘new’ Lomography camera out but as it turned out Snappy needed emergency surgery because his film advance tab had snapped off so he’s recovering 24hrs from a glue treatment. Instead, I took the Old Standard #rolleiflex from 1932 out. Got myself a new camera yesterday.

Really had to pay up for this one. EUR 7.50 with an original ‘snappy’ lenscap. I’ve wanted one for so long. The moment I saw it to the cash register took 5 minutes. I’m gonna shoot the crap out of it, better believe me. Green caggabe on a wood laminated floor, shot on 4×5 film.

When the light is good… Sometimes you just see it.

I found cabbages in the farmers market yesterday and they made me think of Edward Weston, although I’m not even sure he photographed cabbage leaves or somebody else did that.

I got one, thinking at least I’ll shoot a different picture with it than the standard, black-backdrop image everybody does. This morning while having coffee the sunlight swept across the floor so I moved furniture aside and here we are…
